Well look at this.
Thank you Susan Rodriguez for your 15 years of dedicated service.. then I got the ... how old were you when you started? Where you still in elementary school. hahah.. Yeah sure I say. Guess my age. hahaa

It came with a $150 gift card.
It comes with a vacation increase. Now I am earning 2 days a month. So what that is 24 days a year. What the heck. and I going to do with 24 days of vacation a year. So think of it this way, I earn 1 sick day and 2 vacation days a month, I see it as 3 days a month.. total that up and that is 36 days a year or if you look at it this way, that is 7 weeks off a year. hahaha... OH and this doesn't include my furlough days.. so add 16 days to that equation.
Come to think of it, now I know why my numbers never go down, I earn more then I could use.

This morning as I was running out the door...I decided to bring a little inspiration into my cubicle. I just received a musical 26.2 medal in the mail and I had this poster sitting at home. OK so maybe I will do a full marathon this year. Now to find the perfect FLAT one. Is there such a thing? If so..where is it?

cheating for day 63. I didn't take any photo's because I was high on cold medicine. It was at 8:30 pm last night and thtat I realized oh I forgot to take a picture today. Then I sat there thinking about Sunday and how incredibly impressed I was by all my friends who just completed the Los Angeles Marathon. Then I started thinking, you know I want to do another one. I love half marathons but my intention was to do a full one each year. I didn't last year but maybe this year I will. Maybe.

i cry. i cry a lot.
I spent the day with my aunt at the hospital while she started a new round of chemo. I asked my mom what can I do..she asked please stay with your anut and Gaby (my cousin). I said OK. As my aunt snoozed my cousin went and took a little nap next to her, I captured this moment with my cell phone.

i am praying for miracles. i am praying this new chemo treatment works and stops the growth of that damn tumor.

This is the most touching moment I have ever witnessed by the hard ass BK. One of our team members saw Bridget and she just started crying. Amanda said it was the moment where she didn't hit the wall, she hit the great wall of China. Poor thing, I saw her crying and just started crying myself. Bridget ran up to her gave her a big hug and took off with her. She helped her through a rough moment and for this reason this is why I call Bridget my favorite coach. She is not only an amazing coach but she is also an amazing friend.

Reality Sucks! Cancer Sucks.

I remember leaving the office with my aunt and her complaining of headaches. She thought it was just stress. She went to the doctor, was sent to get an MRI right away, 2 weeks later she was in surgery getting a biopsy of her brain tumor. One night we are in the car laughing and joking the next minute I am in the hospital waiting to hear how the surgery went. 2 and half years later my aunt is still alive, but the reality has set, that damn tumor is growing and *sigh*.

Last Monday I looked at my mom and she looked really tired. I said Mom are you OK? She started crying and said No, I am losing my sister and I don't know what to do. That is when reality set in and I said what can I do?

While my aunt can't hold full conservations anymore, I went over and had a nice chat with her. Even though I completed her sentences and told her stupid stories about work she still wanted to hear all about it. So what is going on, is so and so still there? We laughed and just had a great time and I really enjoyed my evening with her.

1. Now I know how to say Hello in 3 different languages.

2. So what happened to Floor #13..does this mean the 14th floor technically is the 13th floor? It would explain a lot you know.

3. Doodle. I doodle in meetings. I can't help it! How many times must we go over the same thing only to come to the same conclusion. OVER IT.

4. Went for walk..aaahhh hhhaa moment...it was beautiful.

For me it was an ordinary Sunday spent at home cleaning and looking over old photos. I feel upon this photo of my aunt Andrea and just started crying.

My aunt, my mom and I would carpool to work everyday and just laugh at the silliest things. They would make fun of me, I would make fun of them, it was fun being the third wheel with these two sisters. I would tease my aunt about being my favorite aunt. She would say "Now Susy, it's OK to call me your favorite but just don't let your other aunts know or else they will get jealous" and she would let out the biggest laugh ever.

I love my aunt! I miss being able to hold a conservation with her. Her cancer is spreading and well IT SUCKS!! :(

project 365 - day 51 - Chico's Angels

Last night I went on another adventure with my friend Delia. This girl has been taking me to places I never go and I will admit it really has been a lot of fun.

Our adventure last night, Chico's Angels. She told me, check out their site, be prepared to laugh and I can't wait for you to see them. I checked out thier site and their webseries. I could not stop laughing and couldn't wait to see the show. If you are able to, I totally suggest you go check out this show. I cooked dinner. Everyday when I get home I get asked the same question...Yo Mom what's for dinner. So I planned ahead and left everything ready. I decided to try out this Big Green Egg that's been sitting in my backyard. Lets just say, if you like really crisp chicken then you should come over. Yummy.

I'm a scrapbooker...I swear

I've been working on things, but life got a bit busy and I put a few things aside.

13 - years.. Yes 13 years with Mark. Really? The picture is our first picture ever taken as a couple, I love it. Just a simple layout on our crazy relationship...and don't listen to him to when he says we've only been together 2 weeks. hahaha

This layout I started a few weeks back and again put it aside. It was for one of Scrapping the Music weekly challenges. The song was about Disneyland. Really who doesn't love this place. If growing up means I can never come back to this place, then I never want to grow up.
For years I've been searching for the perfect tattoo. I went from wanting a sugar skull, to a skeleton winged butterfly to this. I love it and it couldn't be more prefect. And it really didn't hurt - not all that much - not until I put my bra strap back on. OUCH. Oh but I have to say it is so beautiful and I LOVE IT.

The cutest watch dogs ever were at my door again. Hershey is patient and waits for his treat, Capone (the little one) on the other hand is just plain spoiled. He runs up to me, I hug him and he licks me all over...I give in and give him his treat right away. What can I say..I'm sucker for these dogs..total puppy love. :)

Oh look at Hershey. He is the best dog ever. He is now 13 years old, getting a little slow, but still the best dog ever. He scratches at my door everyday looking for treat. I give him his treat and off he goes on his merry way. Love our Hershey dog - the best watch dog ever.

Today was just one of those days. I kept losing focus, it was more like my mind was wondering and before you knew it I was like where was I. AAARRRGGGHHH... It's OK.

So tonight I worked out with BK and instead of taking my Gatorade with me I decided to try Vita Coco. I've been reading up on it and asking many questions on the health benefits. Some of my team members swear by it, so I decided to try it. The flavor gets some getting use to but it's not bad. I think I will feel the difference more once I start using it on my long runs. Totally excited about it. :)

It's been awhile since I've done anything crafty. I came home with a headache..just feeling blah. Took a pill and I think that pill gave me a 'spark' or maybe a 'poke' it was like get your butt up and do something. So I did, made some salsa and got to crafting a b-day card. Yep this banner is a birthday card. :) well...it will be. I love birthdays.
